About the Author

Bill Cima holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland, a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from the U.S. Naval Post Graduate School at Monterey, California, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Bill served on active military duty for 13 years as a U.S. Navy fighter pilot, flying the F-4 Phantom II and the F-14 Tomcat. After graduating with distinction from the USAF Test Pilot School, he served as a test pilot conducting developmental and operational testing of aircraft and weapon systems. He continued his flying career as a civilian finishing as an airline wide-body captain with Federal Express.

As a businessman, Bill has seen all aspects of business life, working as a manager in major aerospace companies and founding and operating several small businesses. He has interfaced with government at many levels, both in the military and in civilian life, serving as a project manager in the test and evaluation of airborne weapons systems, as a government contractor in the aerospace industry and as a small business owner sifting through the myriad of regulations handicapping our economy. From these first hand experiences and his educational background, Bill understands as well as anyone the benefits of a constitutionally limited government, economic freedom and the extent to which a ballooning government can imperil a nation’s future.

An avid student of history and economics, Bill has applied lessons from both in building a solid, well-researched case for limited government and economic freedom.
